Meracinque cultivates only 100% pure Carnaroli seeds, which is why it is certified as Classic Carnaroli, considered the King of Rice by all experts. It is located in Roncoferraro, in the province of Mantua. This territory, which is shared by the Veneto and Lombardy regions, is distinguished by its geophysical characteristics: its clay soil is particularly suitable for rice cultivation.
Micro Natural®: a registered micronatural method that allows for the preservation of the plant's good health while maintaining a healthy rice field environment with micronized rock powder and natural microorganisms.
Agriculture 4.0: Combination of precision agriculture allied with the principles of the "Internet of Agriculture," based on the harmonious and interconnected use of different technologies.
Aged for one year: this period ossifies the rice grain, preserving its nutritional properties and ensuring excellent resistance to cooking.
Low-temperature drying: the rice is dried at a low temperature to prevent grain breakage. The fuel used is LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas), which leaves no traces of hydrocarbons in the product.
Respect for the environment: 360-degree sustainability, thanks to soil mapping, variable seeding, cover crops, minimum tillage, land rotation, and 100% compostable packaging.

Meracinque was founded in 2017 by sisters Margherita, Benedetta, Silvia, Anna, and Vittoria, to give voice to a family tradition and a dream: to bring to life the best Carnaroli Rice. Then aged between 33 and 23, each with different backgrounds and professional experiences, but with a common passion for the territory and high-quality products, the five Tovo sisters decided to resume their father's work, focusing on the production of micronatural Carnaroli rice, obtained by a patented natural method of Japanese origin. Thanks to the use of various Agriculture 4.0 technologies, the land is nourished with effective microorganisms that prevent fungal diseases: after a year of processing. The result is a very high-quality rice, appreciated for its excellent resistance to cooking.
