In Montalcino, Brunello is the most traditional expression of the supremacy of local grape varieties. But other famous grape varieties can yield excellent results. Pinot Grigio is, along with Sangiovese, the most widespread and appreciated Italian grape variety in the world. Pinot Grigio IGT Toscana is the result of a prosperous migration from its original northern Italian home to the sunny hills of Tuscany. The resulting wine offers intense yet soft and elegant fruit, an inviting flavour, and great sweetness.
Tasting notes: Straw yellow colour with greenish reflections. Complex and fragrant aroma. Delicate floral aromas are enhanced by the typical fruity notes of the grape variety (including pear and golden apple). Full, intense flavour with great balance. It presents a fresh acidity, and the finish is savoury and pleasantly fruity.
