The handmade Amarena (sour cherry) Panettone, from Loison's exquisite Frutta e Fiore collection, is a soft cake enriched with candied sour cherries, raisins, and natural Bourbon vanilla from Madagascar.
The natural fermentation, 72 hours of meticulous preparation, and selected ingredients give this cake its unique softness, digestibility, and flavour. The yellow and well-aerated dough is made with fresh ingredients: free-range eggs from Italian farms, butter, milk, and fresh cream.
Loison
Founded in 1938 in the small commune of Costabissara, Vicenza province, in the Veneto region, Loison based its development on the skilful combination of simplicity with a love for genuine products.
As Dario Loison points out, who, along with Sonia Pilla, represents the third generation at the helm of this family project, artisan confectionery cannot be rushed. It takes time to masterfully enhance and combine delicate flavours, steeped in history. It is the art of transforming tradition into quality.
