N ZERO NEGROAMARO IGT

N Zero is a premium wine produced by the Menhir Salento winery, made exclusively from Negroamaro grapes from Salento.

Menhir Salento cultivates Negroamaro grapes in the northern part of the Salento province. The old vines, some 35 years old, produce potent and refined bunches. This is also partly due to the perfect climate for this Negroamaro N Zero: rich soil, abundant sunshine, and a cool sea breeze. The name "N Zero", Number Zero, is a tribute to the long journey Menhir Salento undertook to create this beautiful red wine: "we started from scratch and had to discover everything". After being harvested by hand, part of the wine is aged in oak barrels. 

Tasting notes: "The nose offers umami aromas of tanned leather, underbrush, and dried cherries, but a burst of energy comes from a hint of wild berries. The palate reveals a powerful black cherry element, gliding over a current of mentholated dark chocolate, through a forest of velvety tannins." Wine Enthusiast

It pairs perfectly with cheese and charcuterie boards, Pasta al Ragù, Risotto ai funghi porcini or roasted goat.
