Pumpkin is one of the symbols of the province of Mantua, whose extremely rich soil provides the best raw material: a firm, sweet, and creamy fruit all at once. Maintaining its consistency, this mustard pairs perfectly with aged cheeses and smoked cured meats. It can be used to brighten your tramezzini (small sandwiches on triangular slices of bread) or to enrich more sophisticated gastronomic creations.

Le Tamerici
Located in the small municipality of Bagnolo San Vito, Le Tamerici is a place where gastronomic tradition meets research and experimentation. Founded in 1991 by Paola Calciolari, it produces quality preserves, especially jams and mustards. It rediscovers traditional ingredients from the province of Mantua (Lombardy region), long forgotten, such as the Campanina apple or white watermelon, and uses unusual vegetables and fruits for candied fruits, such as green tomato and pumpkin.
