Le Tamerici
Located in the small commune of Bagnolo San Vito, Le Tamerici is a place where gastronomic tradition meets research and experimentation. Founded in 1991 by Paola Calciolari, it produces quality preserves, especially jams and mustards. It rediscovers traditional ingredients from the province of Mantua (Lombardy region) that had long been forgotten, such as the Campanina apple or white watermelon, and uses unusual vegetables and fruits for candied fruits, such as green tomato and pumpkin.
Le Tamerici combines an artisanal and niche spirit with the use of cutting-edge production technologies. The company's progressive expansion has not compromised quality. The high standards of its production processes are evidenced by the achievement of two of the most important international quality certifications: IFS and BRC.
