The Montepulciano grape is one of the most widespread autochthonous varieties in Italy, cultivated mainly on the side of the Peninsula bathed by the Adriatic Sea. With this Podere, the Umani Ronchi winery offers us a version of Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOC that expresses freshness, softness, and highlights the varietal characteristics of the grape.
The colour is ruby red with purplish hues. On the nose, notes of plum and cherry. In the mouth, the flavour is robust and full-bodied, slightly tannic. The finish is dry and very elegant.
A versatile wine that will perfectly accompany various dishes, even the richer and more substantial ones.
