Col d'Orcia is a traditional producer of Brunello di Montalcino. The name Gineprone refers to the aromatic herb juniper and highlights how this Chianti from the Siena hills reminds us of all the herbs and spices typical of Mediterranean scrubland. Complex and full-bodied, yet accessible and fruity, Gineprone is Montalcino's version of the Chianti wine that made Tuscany famous worldwide.

Tasting notes: Gineprone is a deep ruby red. On the nose, it is expansive, complex, and fruity. Typical aromas of cherry and small stewed red berries are integrated with spices and toasted notes from the wood. On the palate, it is a wine with good structure, warm and full-bodied. The soft, ripe tannins are well-balanced by the fresh acidity of Sangiovese. Long and pleasantly fruity finish.
