ETNA ROSSO DOC - ILLUSTRATED SICILY

Tasting notes: bright red, releases intense aromas of red fruits. On the palate, it is elegant and persistent with spicy and leathery notes. Drink immediately or keep for 2 to 3 years.

Food pairing: pairs well with strong-flavoured dishes, rich sauces and grilled meats.

Origin: Randazzo, province of Catania (Sicily)

Grape varieties: 90% Nerello Mascalese 10% Nerello Cappuccio

Year: 2023

Winemaking: after destemming and controlled thermal maceration (27°C), it remains in contact with the skins for 12 days. After racking, malolactic fermentation takes place in steel tanks. Aged in barrels for about 10 months. After bottling, it ages in the bottle for 3 months.
