The legendary Pasticceria Stratta's spreads exude an irresistible hazelnut aroma, and their dense, creamy texture is an irresistible temptation. Perfect for breakfast or a snack, they can, in fact, brighten up any moment of the day.
The spreads are available in two varieties:
Gianduja: embodies the authentic taste of Piedmont, with 40% PGI Piedmont hazelnuts mixed with cocoa, sweetened with milk and sugar.
Dark Chocolate: for true chocolate lovers, with 40% PGI Piedmont hazelnuts, combined with low-fat cocoa powder and sugar, for a more intense flavour experience.
Gianduja Ingredients: 40% PGI Piedmont HAZELNUTS, sugar, skimmed MILK powder, low-fat cocoa powder. Emulsifier: SOY lecithin. May contain traces of MILK proteins and other NUTS.

The Giandujotti
The history of Giandujotti dates back to 1865, when Turin became the capital of the nascent Italian nation. At that time, cocoa was a luxury product and, to make it accessible to the public, local chocolatiers began to mix it with hazelnuts. From this idea, the famous ingot-shaped chocolate was born, inspired by the hats worn by the traditional Carnival characters of Turin: Gianduja and Giacometta. The selection of raw materials (PGI Piedmont Hazelnuts, South American cocoa and African cocoa butter) and the precise proportions used by Stratta's artisans are the secret of this true treasure.
Pasticceria Stratta
Pasticceria Stratta is one of the greatest interpreters of Turin's famous chocolate, although its creations include many other treasures such as, during the Christmas season, its fabulous Panettone and Pandoro. Founded in 1836 and soon recognised as one of the most beautiful in Europe, it is located in Piazza San Carlo. Classified as a Historic Place of Italy, it still welcomes customers in a typically 19th-century atmosphere.
