On Saturday, June 20, at 10:15 AM, the Poesia da Mangiare series, at the Dante & C.ª venue in Alvalade (Lisbon), opens its doors to a unique and unforgettable moment: the European premiere of Concerto de Bolso — O Pianinho, conceived and conducted by the multifaceted and brilliant pianist and composer Pablo Lapidusas, and already successfully presented in schools and community spaces in Brazil.
This workshop-concert is aimed at children up to 10 years old, as well as the adults accompanying them in this experience. It proposes an encounter between children and classical music through a central and unexpected element — the Toy Piano, a toy piano that acts as a bridge (sometimes dizzying) between imagination and high artistic performance — and compositions by Mozart, Bach, Beethoven, Villa-Lobos, Tchaikovsky, and Rimsky-Korsakov.
Concerto de Bolso — O Pianinho is a musical experience that sparks curiosity, invites play and discovery: children will discover how they can become "inventors" of new melodies and that classical music is not distant or difficult, and can be reached by their small hands. As its given name foreshadows, this is an artistic object that fits in the hand and in the heart.
The number of places is limited and each child must be accompanied by an adult.
Purchase here or reserve via email unpoditalia@danteecompanhia.pt, please indicate the name and age of the child(ren) and the name of the accompanying adult, as this will help us prepare the room. We will send reservation confirmation and payment details by the following day.
