CIRÒ DOC LIBER PATER CLASSIC SUPERIOR RED

Ippolito's Cirò Rosso Liber Pater is a wine that celebrates Liber Pater, the Italic deity of wine and vineyards. Made predominantly from Gaglioppo grapes, an ancient and indigenous variety from Calabria, this wine perfectly embodies the power and elegance of this grape and is a living portrait of Calabrian viticulture.

Tasting notes: The wine has a deep ruby-red colour, enriched by garnet reflections. Very aromatic, the bouquet reveals notes of wild berries, spices, and slight nuances of leather and tobacco. On the palate, the structure is robust yet incredibly balanced, with smooth tannins and well-defined minerality.

Vinification: careful selection of grapes in the vineyard, followed by long maceration and careful aging for 8 months in French oak barrels.
