CERASUOLO DI VITTORIA DOC - ILLUSTRATED SICILY

Tasting notes: cherry red in colour, it releases a fruity aroma. On the palate, it is dry with notes of plum, chocolate and tobacco. Drink immediately or store for 3 to 5 years.

Food pairing: pairs well with strongly flavoured Mediterranean dishes.

Origin: Vittoria, province of Ragusa (Sicily)

Grape varieties: 60% Nero d'Avola 40% Frappato

Year: 2022

Winemaking: after destemming and controlled thermal maceration (25°C), it remains in contact with the skins for 12 days. After racking, malolactic fermentation takes place in steel tanks. Matured in barrels for approximately 6 months. After bottling, it ages in the bottle for approximately 1 month.
