ACQUA PANNA

Acqua Panna is proud of its long history. Some place its origin in the Renaissance period and associate it with the famous Medici family of Florence. The Medicis were known for their sumptuous banquets and, according to legend, ensured a constant supply of mineral water for daily use at court. On July 15, 1564, an official proclamation established the boundaries of the Medici lands, intended for the family's private reserve. Since then, with the exception of roads, the lands have remained almost intact and are still protected today. This is the birthplace of Acqua Panna.

About a decade ago, on the occasion of its 450th anniversary celebration, Acqua Panna and the Tuscany Region signed an official agreement whereby Acqua Panna began displaying the logo created by the region for 100% Tuscan excellence products on its bottles, until then only used by wine producers. The new Acqua Panna labels also reinforced its connection to its territory of origin and make it one of Tuscany's ambassadors worldwide.

Acqua Panna is a symbol of the power of nature in the heart of the Tuscan Apennines. It encompasses 1,300 hectares of natural reserve, an exclusive aquifer, and a long history of culture, passion, and love for the environment.
