Sharecroppers produced Recioto, a sweet and renowned wine, for the landowners, but they were allowed to keep the pomace after fermentation. This pomace was refermented using the "ripassare" technique in the base wine they produced for their families' sustenance. The addition of the must to the sugar-rich pomace resulted in a fuller-bodied and more caloric wine, an important source of energy for the families.

Provenance: Veneto

Year: 2022

Grape varieties: Corvina, Rondinella, Molinara

Alcohol content: 14%

Serving temperature: should be served between 15°C and 17°C

About Folonari

Folonari, founded in 1825, with a rich history and a focus on continuous innovation, is world-renowned for producing quality wines.
