This is followed by a tank aging for approximately 4 months on fine lees. Three quarters of the property is dedicated to Montepulciano d'Abruzzo. The vineyards are located in an elevated area overlooking the Adriatic Sea, on calcareous clay, moraine, and silty soils, rich in stones (limestone), between the Pescara Hills, near Pescara and the Adriatic Sea.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIts main Montepulciano vineyard, covering 4.5 hectares, named \u003cem\u003eFiliani\u003c\/em\u003e after the previous owner, is only 3 km from the beach, at an altitude of approximately 270 meters above sea level, on a chain of silty and calcareous hills near the village of Città Sant’Angelo, within the Colline Teramo DOCG area. From 2017, Fabrizio has dedicated himself to bringing more clarity, rigor, and definition to his Montepulciano Col del Mondo. With the Campotino range, they offer quality wines at affordable prices, sourced from young vineyards, cultivated using the Guyot system, in cooler locations with lighter soils.
